Music has been my life since I bought my first 45 in 1977.
It was ELO's "Livin' Thing". I made mixed tapes by recording off the radio, spent hours in my room listening to rock 'n roll, was curious about my dad's jazz and classical collection and finally found my groove when I turned my hobby into a paid passion in 1997. I bought my turntables and started to DJ under the moniker AMtrak. The next 16 years were a lot of fun—and the atmosphere certainly enabled my addiction to go undetected. Now 8 years into my recovery, I'm excited to deliver a track selection of some of my favorite tunes—they each have a special place in my heart. Stay tuned for the next installment which will be a house music infused set. :)
